When I heard about this, I just didn't know how to take it, I felt like a family member
that lost his brother or cousin you know. We gotta be careful about the decisions we make because we don't know what can happen next, those boys who were beating him up didn't know that he was gonna die, fighting was the thing in the moment so they just thought just rough him up till he's on the floor. Now I don't know if they gonna be in jail for life but this is why we need to be careful about the decisions we make. When I heard he was an honors student I laughed but not in a joyful way, another one of our focused and on point African-American young brothers was gonna make it out and do something with himself.

Divine Appointments

Ok, yesterday was the start of the day till the ending of the day was just excellent mi amigo lol.Church was real good, and my mentor told me she was having a lil family outing at her house and I went it everything was just great about the day. Recently through my mentor I met these two guys who are older than me, one a grown grown man and the other couple years ahead of me, and just something about them both that's just excellent, they both love God with their hearts and are not ashamed to proclaim his name at all. One of them is an upcoming athlete just like me, and we both shared each others stories and stuff and how people can always test you and try to bring you down with what your trying to accomplish. Not every man grows up with that father into their life but all you need is God and he'll be that father and bring new people into your life that you will truly need.

Me and John had a very nice talk, about just life in general you know and I recorded it, the convo and the music was so good it just flowed nicely together. And mind you I just met this guy yesterday when this video was made. The title of this blog is called Divine Appointments because that's what John kept on saying that day that it was an appointment on God's calendar for us to meet.

Bad Times Will Pay Off

Just had a bad pickup game here at Casamento park, and let me just tell you, it was my 1st bad game of the summer, when you chill for a lil even a day and your not working and doing what you're supposed to do you will reap the consequences. This bad game today is building me. But no matter how far I go with this I must and have to stay humble because it's all God in the start and in the end. I got all comfortable because I've been working so hard but it's like every lil step whether a good step or a bad step I keep learning something new to push me forward. Just time to get back to homework and know that consistency is one of the Five principles to life and Basketball.

PS: When you get back up from something or succeed at something it's always good to just be thankful and humble about it and remember where you came from, I'M READY.

The Pursuit Of Happiness

Umm, I just got done watching this movie for the 1000th time lol and just speechless, I can watch this movie forever, the fact that this man had a vision/dream/goal in him and with the circumstances he had and he reached it, that's the best part of the movie when he's walking with all those stock people outside and he's now one of them and he started clapping with rejoicing in his heart makes you wanna cry. Don't think people realize that he and his son were sleeping in the subway station bathroom and at homeless shelters now look at him. I don't know who's been inspired by Gardner's story but I deeply am, all I can say is Praise God for success stories.

In all honesty I have never met the man a day in my life but this man has helped me improve tremendously in Basketball, I've reached the level of Basketball I always wanted to reach learning from this man, studying his drills, learning his drills, going max speed doing drills, overall motivation, he's the best overall skills trainer in the world with Micah Lancaster about to be next. Feel Bad Bout Past Wrongs?

You ever feel wrong about the wrong you'll do agaisnt God, like it makes you feel sorry bad inside, but like it says you reap what you sow in all things. All the wrong you do you will reap the consequences, I hate the feeling but that's how it was made, but I like the fact it's also grace in the process, undeserving grace meaning we can't do nothing for it. I still don't understand why he would give grace but that's the reason why in church the preacher says GOD IS GOOD "All the time" AND ALL THE TIME "God is Good "

Not gon be writing this blog like I'm all righteous and stuff I fall short daily, definantly not perfect but he's working on me.

Salvation By Grace

Can't be on this blog without giving God his grace that's do to him. In 2006 in March I accepted Christ as my personal saviour. I needed him because I had just been through so much social abuse from peers and nobody ever accepted me for who I am, life with Christ it's like you have someone who loves you just as you are, someone who is more than a friend and loves you and won't treat you like how man does. The fact I ain't gotta worry about no Hell too is the best. I advise anybody reading this make sure you know Jesus before you die.
